Just do it!

Are you wondering what happened to your New Year’s promises to yourself, your resolutions to change some of your bad habits and/or set up new, better ones? It’s not unusual if about now, you realise you’ve let things slip.

Take heart. It’s definitely not too late to restart!
Here’s how:

Think back to the New Year’s resolutions you made.

Choose one of them.

Break it down into six smaller steps.

Put each step into your diary, the first one starting today. Step Two will start in two weeks’ time, Step Three in one month’s time, and so on, until you’ve timetabled all six steps. This will take a total of three months, by the way–and that’s the time it takes to be sure a new behaviour is established as a true habit.

Now, do whatever you need to do to start achieving Step One–right now!
